Meet Stacy

My story begins nearly 45 years ago when I fell out of a tree and broke almost every bone in my body. What could have been a chapter of hardship became the start of a lifelong journey. Yoga was my path to healing—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. It transformed how I approached challenges, shaped my perspective, and set me on a path to live authentically and powerfully.

For over 20 years, I’ve been passionate about sharing yoga because I’ve experienced its life-changing power firsthand. Yoga isn’t just for the flexible or the fit—it’s for everyone. Every body, every age, every stage of life. My teaching is rooted in authenticity and empowerment, helping my students not only strengthen their bodies but also take control of their lives, both on and off the mat.

I had the privilege of owning The Yoga Factory, a studio I ran for over a decade. It became a vibrant community where students connected, grew, and thrived together. Since then, I’ve held various corporate roles, but yoga has always been my anchor. It’s the tool I turn to for managing stress, staying centered, and navigating life’s challenges with clarity and purpose.

My training and expertise are extensive. I’m an E-RYT 500, a 2000-hour Yoga Influencer, a Tier III Certified Baptiste Instructor, and a YACEP educator. I also founded my Yoga Alliance Registered School, Authentic Living = Powerful Life. My approach blends decades of practice in Iyengar, Power Vinyasa, and Baptiste Yoga, combining strength, mindfulness, and self-discovery.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or you’re a seasoned yogi looking to deepen your practice, I’m here to meet you where you are. My studio classes, private sessions, workshops, and corporate programs are all designed to create a safe, supportive space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.

For me, yoga is more than a series of poses—it’s a way of living authentically, boldly, and with intention. I’d be honored to guide you on your journey to becoming your most empowered self, one breath at a time.

Namaste,

Stacy Shepherd
